Scottywood is an innovative Canadian company that has been leading the way in thermal modification since 2013. Using a
specialty kiln and leveraging our unique expertise and ThermoWood® technology, Scottywood is fostering innovation in thermal treatment and manufacturing in British Columbia.

Our beautiful and durable ThermoWood® products are Made in Canada and offered in standard and custom sizes and profiles that can be tailor-made for use in a wide range of design projects. We manufacture our high-quality products using clear, Western Hemlock from coastal B.C., American White Ash, Hard Maple, and Iroko. These materials all have a Class 1 durability rating and are sourced from sustainable forests.

While others are importing ThermoWood from Europe, Scottywood is always focused on keeping a low carbon footprint, preserving our environment and making better use of our local raw materials. By using domestic wood species, in place of tropical hardwoods, Scottywood and our customers are supporting sustainable development. Renewable, and climate friendly, wood is a sustainable, green material that is truly our most natural resource.
